Job Opening: Housing Quality Standards-Certified Housing Inspector
December 19, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — A multiple-year housing subsidy program, sponsored by the City of Philadelphia’s Office of the Deputy Mayor for Health and Opportunity and Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services, and supported by PMHCC, Inc., is in need of Housing Quality Standards-certified housing inspectors to perform inspections consistent with HUD Housing Quality Standards (24 CFR 982.401).
This consulting contract opportunity could cover up to the full 3 year term of the program. Contracted consultants would be reimbursed $125.00 per inspected unit, plus mileage, payable subsequent to receipt of acceptable inspection reports and monthly invoices. Several inspectors are expected to be retained in order to ensure adequate availability, so this is not a salaried position and no minimum level of work is promised.
