Metro Commercial Lands The Tile Shop for King of Prussia, PA
King of Prussia, PA – January 20, 2012 – (RealEstateRama) — The Tile Shop is expanding the Philadelphia region, and Metro Commercial has completed a 25,522-square foot lease for the tile and floor covering store in King of Prussia, PA. The store will open this summer at 201 Allendale Road adjacent to Costco and will occupy the former Levitz Furniture.
Metro Commercial’s Joe Dougherty represented The Tile Shop as the local broker in the high-profile transaction, along with Great Street Realty Partners of Chicago.
“While the space has been vacant for some time since Levitz’s bankruptcy, it required a unique retailer to take this prime, well-located space in King of Prussia,” says Dougherty. “With the pending expansion of the mall right across the street, this spot will be at an incredibly prime cross-road of this market.”
The Tile Shop is dedicated to providing consumers and tile professionals an unparalleled selection of world-class product, showcasing the extraordinary beauty and value found in ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tile. Founded in 1984, The Tile Shop is based in Minneapolis-St.Paul and operates 47 stores in 17 states. The retailer has 2 additional locations in Metro Philadelphia located in Moorestown, NJ and Wilmington, DE.
