HARRISBURG – March 24, 2015 – (RealEstateRama) — Harrisburg property owners can sign up for payment plans for 2015 real estate taxes, City Treasurer Tyrell Spradley announced Monday.

“Property owners must come into the office, sign up and make their first payment by Tuesday, March 10, 2015,” Spradley said. “There is still time to set up an easy payment plan to pay city real estate taxes.”

Property owners are being given the ability to pay their taxes in four installments, but the first payment must be made by the March 10th deadline. Payment arrangements must be set up at the treasurer’s office, Room 103 in the MLK Government Center, 10 N. Second St., Harrisburg, PA. The office is open from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The treasurer also reminds that 2 percent discounts on real estate taxes will be offered through March 21, 2015. Property owners can pay the full amount of their taxes without penalty through May 21, 2015. A 10 percent penalty is assessed for payments made between May 22, 2015 and Dec. 31, 2015.
