Governor Wolf Announces Statewide Planning Project to Boost Pennsylvania’s Solar Energy Development Begins in...

Governor Tom Wolf today announced that a statewide planning project led by the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) will equip Pennsylvania to produce more solar energy and increase solar-generated in-state electricity sales to at least 10 percent by 2030. The project, called “Finding Pennsylvania’s Solar Future,” was selected for a $550,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy.

The Federal Home Loan Bank of Pittsburgh (FHLBank) today announced unaudited financial results for the first quarter of 2015. The Bank recorded net income of $71.1 million, and the Board of Directors declared dividends of 5.0 percent annualized on activity stock and 3.0 percent annualized on membership stock. Dividends are payable to the Bank’s stockholders on April 30, 2015

Housing Market Sees Growth in First Quarter

The Pennsylvania housing market saw a nearly 11 percent jump in closed sales in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the same quarter in 2014, according to a report published by the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors® (PAR).
