Historic Tax Credit established in Pennsylvania
Harrisburg PA - July 12, 2012 - (RealEstateRama) -- On Saturday, June 30, Pennsylvania became the 30th state in the country to have a state historic tax credit when Governor Tom Corbett signed the FY 2013 Commonwealth Budget and established the Historic Preservation Incentive Act. This tax credit will be a companion to the very successful federal tax credit program.
Commonwealth Cornerstone Group receives $28 million of new markets tax credits
HARRISBURG, PA - March 15, 2011 - (RealEstateRama) -- Commonwealth Cornerstone Group, a nonprofit corporation created by the Pennsylvania Housing Finance Agency, has secured $28 million in new markets tax credit (NMTC) allocations from the U.S. Treasury Department's Community Development Financial Institutions Fund.
