The Centennial Celebration began with the Installation of 2011 officers
PITTSBURGH, PA – February 2, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — The 2,200-member REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh (RAMP) celebrated the beginning of its 100th year of serving the real estate needs of our area’s families and businesses with the installation of its 2011 officers. More than a hundred real estate industry leaders gathered for a ceremony and elegant reception on January 14, 2011 at The Frick Art & Historical Center in Point Breeze.
2011 President R. Kevin Brown Jr., is President of Praedium Real Estate Services. He’s been a member of RAMP since 1996. A resident of the area since 1974, Kevin is a graduate of North Hills High School, Carnegie Mellon University and Duquesne University School of Law. Kevin has served on various RAMP committees and is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®
2011 President-Elect Shirley Boyd McNamara, GRI, CRB, is Associate Broker of Howard Hanna Wilson Baum Real Estate. She has been a REALTOR® since 1972. Shirley served as a director for the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS® for 25 years and was president of McKeesport Board of REALTORS® for five years. She has received the REALTOR® of the Year honor at both Westmorland West Association of REALTORS® and McKeesport Board of REALTORS®.
2011 Secretary Treasurer Ruthanne Belus, ABR, SRES, has been actively involved in real estate for almost 35 years. A lifetime resident of Beaver County, she is currently an associate broker and certified appraiser at the Beaver Office of Northwood Realty. Formerly she was the broker-owner of Choice Homes in Conway. Prior to joining RAMP, Ruthanne twice held the office of president for the Beaver Country Association of REALTORS® and was also selected twice as REALTOR® of the Year. She also served for nine consecutive years as a director of the Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®.
Since 1911, the REALTORS® Association of Metropolitan Pittsburgh has served the community and real estate professionals as western Pennsylvania’s most effective voice for private property rights and industry professionalism. RAMP, which was originally known as the Pittsburgh Real Estate Board, began with 30 members and has since grown to include nearly 2,200 REALTORS®.
