Desiderio Presents at Annual Pennsylvania Housing Conference

Upper Marlboro, MD – February 23, 2011 – (RealEstateRama) — Tomorrow, Michelle Desiderio, director of green building programs for the NAHB Research Center, will present a program on “Marketing Green Building to Customers” at this year’s Pennsylvania Housing & Land Development Conference at Penn State University. Desiderio will also conduct a roundtable discussion on the National Green Building Standard and the NAHB Research Center’s national certification program based on the Standard.

The two-day conference (February 23 & 24) will focus on technical issues related to the delivery of houses and the emerging planning, design, and regulatory issues affecting the land development industry in Pennsylvania. The conference is sponsored by the Pennsylvania Housing Research Center, Pennsylvania Builders Association, Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development, York Builders Association, Pennsylvania Construction Codes Academy, and PABCO.
