Philadelphia, PA – July 27, 2009 – (RealEstateRama) — Metro Commercial announced today that it has negotiated five new Target store locations in Pennsylvania totaling over 650,000 square feet. All five of the newly-constructed stores for the Minneapolis-based retailer are scheduled to open on July 26, 2009.
Metro Commercial’s Steve Niggeman, Tom Londres and Mark Gerlach completed the following transactions:
- Cheltenham Square, 2385 W. Cheltenham Ave., Cheltenham, PA – 135,000 SF
- Upland Shopping Center, Route 100, Pottstown, PA – 134,000 SF

According to Target, each store will create about 165 jobs and feature open-market layouts with expanded food offerings. Each store will also feature a Starbucks and Target Pharmacy.
