$3 million in funding available for Veterans’ housing, employment and other assistance

WASHINGTON, D.C. – September 19, 2013 – (RealEstateRama) — Veterans Leadership Program has received $3 million in funding for housing, employment and other assistance for Veterans and their families residing in southwestern Pennsylvania.

Veterans Leadership Program (VLP) is a “one-stop shop” where Veterans from all eras (WWII to current conflicts) can find direct services, information, and referrals, no matter their VA benefits eligibility or discharge status.  Here, Veterans can receive assistance with:
·         Paying their bills

·         Finding a job

·         Securing housing

·         Receiving support

As you know, Veterans Leadership Program:

·         serves 2,000+ Veterans and makes 5,000 referrals each year

·         dedicates 100% of its funding and resources to serving Veterans who reside in western Pennsylvania

·         is led and staffed by a team that includes 75% Veterans and Active Military Service Members

·         has served an estimated 100,000+ Veterans since 1982
