Landmark adds mega sports bar to list of vendors
CONSHOHOCKEN, PA – January 9, 2008 – Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc., the region’s largest full-service retail real estate firm, announced today it has negotiated the lease of a 12,830-square-foot public sports bar at the Reading Terminal Headhouse in Philadelphia, PA.
Brian Harrington and Gary Cardi, owners of the Field House, signed a lease for the mega sports bar that is located in the 114-year-old, 40,000-square-foot landmark located in the Market East section of the city. The site is the former home of the Independence Brew Pub.
Metro Commercial’s Randy Hope represented the landlord in the lease transactions, and CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. handled negotiations for the Field House.
“The deal provides us with a great branding opportunity as we continue to open new locations across the country,” says Harrington. “The Reading Terminal is known for being in one of the busiest markets in the country. We expect it is going to bring us tremendous exposure.” For years, the Reading Terminal has been considered the heart and soul of Philadelphia as thousands of tourists pass through its famed farmers market every week.
